About Fictionpurchased Tree Service and How Referrals Work

Who we are

Fictionpurchased Tree Service is a referral service for tree removal. We connect homeowners in Grand Prairie and the Grand Prairie area with independent local providers. That is the whole job. We stop there.

Why this site exists

Hiring a tree provider is stressful. Quotes do not match. Scopes are vague. Some homeowners feel rushed into a choice. So we built a simpler path. Send one request. See what comes back. Decide at your own pace. Compare, then decide.

How providers are matched

You tell us about the tree, where it stands, and what worries you. Providers in our network that serve your area can see the request. Those with room in their schedule may reach out. The fit depends on the job. A dead oak near a fence is not the same as storm tree clearance after a tropical system. Say which one you have.

What we expect from providers

Providers are independent businesses. We ask them to:

  • Look at the tree, or at photos, before they quote
  • Put the scope in writing: cutting, haul-away, cleanup, stump grinding
  • Explain risks to your roof, fence and yard
  • Follow the licensing and insurance rules that apply where you live
  • Accept a "no" without pushing

You should still ask for proof of insurance and any required license. Do not skip that step.

What we do not do

Fictionpurchased Tree Service does not cut, climb, haul or grind. We do not set prices. We do not supervise the work. Your agreement is with the provider, not with us.

We also cannot tell you what your insurance pays. Some policies may cover sudden damage, so check your policy. Providers can often help document damage for a claim.

How we are paid

Homeowners do not pay Fictionpurchased Tree Service to send a request. Providers in our network may pay a referral fee when they get a lead. Your price comes from the provider's own quote. Ask for every charge in writing before you agree to anything.

What tree work usually costs

In the U.S., small tree jobs often run a few hundred dollars. Large, leaning or hard-to-reach trees can run into the thousands. Stump grinding is often priced separately. Costs vary by size, access and condition. Get a written quote and compare more than one.

Get connected

Start with a request. Describe the tree and your goal. Then compare what you hear back. Ask before cutting.
